Here we are at various scenes
from our favourite Icelandic
movie: 101 Reykjavik
These statues are of Hannes Hafstein (foreground),
leader of the first home-rule government, and of
King Christian IX (background), presenting Iceland
with its constitution.
This is Reykjavik City Hall. It is really a
cool spot and built right on and in the water.
PS-You really have to see the movie to understand the significance
of these shots...sorry. It is a great little movie though.
